the Hamburger Man Catering

the begining...

Captain Billy Whizzbang's hamburgers (1977) was

started humbly but with a grand plan: to create the finest burger ever tasted, end of story. However, a friend wanted to have our great burgers in his back yard for his wedding rehearsal dinner, so we bought a grill and a cart and THE  Hamburger Man  catering was born.

Turns out a lot of people wanted us to carter our delicious burgers in their backyards, at their school functions and for their employees! By 1980 we were traveling from Waco to the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex to serve our now famous burgers. Captain Billy made the move to Arlington in 1983 to better serve the area.

Our secret, for over 40 years of on site catering service? It's not one admittedly. The best ingredients is a big part. An unrelenting love for the burger and the people we serve is the other big part. Between those , we think we pretty much have our bases covered.
