A Love for the Burger
It started humbly but with a grand plan: to create the finest burger ever tasted. What began as a favor for a friend's backyard wedding rehearsal dinner turned into a 45-year legacy of on-site catering across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Our secret? The best ingredients and an unrelenting love for the burger and the people we serve. Between those two things, we think we have our bases pretty well covered.
49 Years in the Making

It all started humbly but with a grand plan: to create the finest burger ever tasted. A friend wanted our great burgers at his backyard wedding rehearsal dinner — so we bought a grill and a cart, and on-site catering was born.
The Hamburger Man Is Born
Turns out a lot of people wanted us to cater our delicious burgers in their backyards, at school functions, and for their employees. By 1980 we were traveling from Waco to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex to serve our now-famous burgers.
Moving to Arlington
Captain Billy made the move to Arlington to better serve the DFW area — putting us right in the heart of the metroplex and closer to the thousands of families, companies, and churches who'd come to love our food.
48+ Years & Still Grilling
Our secret for over 49 years of on-site catering? It's not just one thing. The best ingredients is a big part. An unrelenting love for the burger and the people we serve is the other big part. Between those two, we think we have our bases pretty well covered.
